Career & Educational Counseling





The following services are approved by the International Association of Counseling Services (IACS).


A full range of tests to determine interests, aptitudes and skills is used in conjunction with counseling to make effective decisions regarding educational and vocational goals.
Experienced, professional counselors help clients examine needs and expectations, assess options, establish short and long term career goals, identify transferable skills for career transition and develop a career plan. Services are offered on a sliding fee scale.
Career focus groups and support groups meet on an ongoing basis to assist individuals with mutual concerns. Career seminars are held periodically on current career issues.
Personalized guidance is offered to assist in the selection of an appropriate college, vocational school and/or major field of study, with information available regarding "Jewish life on campus" and in the surrounding community. Help is provided in preparing admission applications, essay writing and interview techniques. Financial aid advisement is also available.
Up-to-date written and computerized information is available on occupations, technical schools, colleges and graduate schools.
