Written text with audio voice-over reinforces the content from lectures and adds supplemental information. Key words and concepts are highlighted, and definitions are provided.

ASSIGNMENTS

Creative activities help summarize concepts, stimulate thought, and allow students to problem solve. These activities reinforce learning, enhance understanding, and are outlets for written expression.

ASSESSMENTS

After students complete each lesson's assessment, the instructor can respond and provide feedback and reinforcement. The "Grades" button on the toolbar provides quick access to the Notebook where students can get immediate information about their progress.

DISCUSSIONS

A visually expanding private chat room allows students to ask and answer questions, conduct research, and chat with other students and the instructor in real-time. A private bulletin board allows for further sharing of information.

Foreign Language Glossaries, available in French and Spanish, define unfamiliar terms in each lesson.

ADMINISTRATION

Administrator features enable virtual or classroom instructors to monitor students' progress through each course. Instructors can read, respond to, and grade student assignments, review test scores, and continually interact with students.
