            2. Communication skills overview
            3. Communication skills application
            4. Attitude, personal appearance, and work ethic
            5. Working with dissatisfied customers
            6. Problem solving and critical thinking
            7. Cultural awareness

Course Two: Customer Service Skills for the Retail Industry

 

Focuses on the Customer Service Concentration Standards. Highlights information related to the Retail industry. Prepares students for the National Retail Federation’s Certification exam. Contains the following course lessons:
          1. Overview of retail establishments and retail employment
          2. Initiating customer contact
          3. Building customer relations
          4. Building the sale/closing the sale
          5. Maintaining customer relations
          6. Appearance of the department/store
          7. Organization safety/security
