FROM SOUTH - Take Parkway to Exit 145
AFTER THE TOLL BOOTH bear left, following signs for Rt. 280 WEST. Follow the road as it curves to the left, but remain in the right hand lane after the curve. The road will split again before the entrance to 280 West. Stay to the right. Do not go onto Rt. 280 West, but follow the right hand fork designated “Clinton St. East Orange.” Continue straight to the 7th traffic light, and make a right turn onto Harrison Street. Continue straight under the railroad overpass and through two lights (Main St. and William St.) Make the next right hand turn onto Washington Terrace. Follow Washington Terrace for a block and a half. The road will curve to the left, and the JVS parking lot is on your right. Use the second (middle) driveway entrance with the security guard booth.
FROM NORTH - Take Parkway to Exit 147
GET OFF AT 147 (SPRINGDALE AVE). Bear to your right as you come off the Parkway, onto North Walnut Street. Continue on N. Walnut to Park Ave. Make a right onto Park Ave. Go up Park Ave. past 3 traffic lights. After the third light (Prospect St.) go one block to Washington Terrace. Make a left turn onto Washington Terrace. The JVS parking lot is ½ block in on your left. Use the second (middle) driveway entrance at the security guard booth.
FROM ROUTE 280 EASTBOUND
Take 280 East to East Orange - (Exit 11A sign will read “EAST ORANGE HARRISON Street CLINTON Street”) At the light at the end of the exit ramp, make a left turn onto Harrison Street. Continue straight on Harrison St. Continue straight through three lights (Freeway Drive, Main St. and William St.) Make the next right hand turn onto Washington Terrace. Follow Washington Terrace for a block and a half. The road will curve to the left, and the JVS parking lot is on your right. Use the second (middle) driveway entrance with the security guard booth.
FROM ROUTE 280 WESTBOUND
Take 280 West to Clinton Street Exit Follow parallel Road (FREEWAY DRIVE West) to South Harrison Street. Make a right on South Harrison. Continue straight under the railroad overpass and through two lights (Main St. and William St.) Make the next right hand turn onto Washington Terrace. Follow Washington Terrace for a block and a half. The road will curve to the left, and the JVS parking lot is on your right. Use the second (middle) driveway entrance with the security guard booth.
FROM UJC, WHIPPANY AND POINTS WEST VIA ROUTE 10 EAST
Follow Route 10 East through the Livingston Circle and past the center of Livingston, crossing Route 280 to the traffic light at Main Street in West Orange. Turn left at the light onto Main Street, and then turn right at the traffic light in front of Llewellyn Park onto Park Avenue. Continue east 1.3 miles and turn right onto Washington Terrace (the first street after the Glenwood Avenue traffic light). The JVS parking lot is on your left. Use the second (middle) driveway entrance at the security guard booth.
DIRECTIONS BY TURNPIKE
Take New Jersey Turnpike to Exit 15W (280W). At the toll follow signs to Rt. 280 West. Take 280 West to Clinton Street Exit - East Orange (DO NOT get off at Clinton St. in Newark). After the first traffic light on the Clinton St. Exit move over to the right on this 4 lane road (Freeway Drive). At the 7th traffic light make a right turn onto Harrison St. You will go under the railroad overpass. Go under the railroad overpass and through the second light at William St. (Harrison becomes Washington), and make the first right hand turn onto Washington Terrace. Washington Terrace curves to the left. The JVS parking lot is on your right after the curve. Use the second (middle) driveway entrance at the security guard booth.
FROM THE GW BRIDGE
Follow signs for Rt. 80 West. Proceed about 5-6 miles to Rt. 95 NJ Turnpike South. Bear left off of the exit onto the NJ Turnpike. Stay left. Go past the Meadowlands about 3 miles to Exit 15W and follow Turnpike directions above.
